  • The combined result from Athletes' best 5 sprint and 5 distance results will determine the Overall World Champion for both Men and Women, as well as discipline Champions for the Tour (i.e. Distance & Sprint)

  • Prize-money levels for 2022 are set at a minimum of EUR 25,000 per event, with 50% of this being awarded to the Sprint discipline (EUR 12,500) and 50% to the distance (EUR 12,500), with final prize-money breakdown to be announced following consultation with the Athlete Advisory Board that will be formally introduced prior to the 2022 season.

The APP has provided a global qualification process for the 2022 season that collaborates with existing regional events to honor the top 2 men and women with a spot on tour. The Qualification Series for 2022 are as follows:

Women:

***Local Wildcards

In addition to the above pre-qualified athletes, 2 local wildcards will be awarded in conjunction with each event for both Men and Women to celebrate local talent through the APP's spotlight. Local Wildcard submissions for specific events can also be made through the regular communications channel at athletes@appworldtour.com

Please note that aspiring APP Athletes should still attend any and all events that they can, as even if the Main Event is full, we will have a Pro-Am component across all events, and in the case of any no shows, alternates that are on site at the event can take advantage of any open spots in the Main Event. For all wildcard submissions and any questions, please contact us at athletes@appworldtour.com
